Professional values

A principle-oriented person believes in their morals, ideals, and beliefs above all else. They believe in acting in accordance with morality and are often preoccupied with whether actions are right or wrong. Principle-oriented people have self-control enough to follow rules and adhere to their high moral standard, remaining loyal and keeping their promises.

In the workplace, these individuals are highly motivated when the environment and company are aligned with their principles. People trust and respect this, knowing they will never compromise their principles, take credit for other people’s work, or undermine team members to achieve a goal. This is aligned with working to a code of conduct.

Having set views and being unswayable from principles, means great value is placed on the way goals are achieved, not just whether a goal is achieved. Consequently, by never letting people down, and always acting in a way according to their principles, they are highly sensitive to the topics of decency and character.
